General
What is ForgeLoot?
ForgeLoot is a skin upgrade service for Counter-Strike 2, Dota 2 and Rust. You stake skins from your inventory on the site for a chance to get a more expensive skin of your choice. Skins you win can be withdrawn to Steam, sold for balance or used in the next upgrade.
How do I get started?
- Sign in with Steam or Telegram.
- Top up your balance.
- Buy skins in the Shop, or use skins you already have on the site.
- Pick a target skin and press Upgrade.
Which games are supported?
CS2, Dota 2 and Rust — switch between them with the game tabs. One upgrade uses skins from a single game: the skins you stake and the target must all be from the same game.
Who can use the site?
You must be at least 18 years old, or older if the law where you live requires it, and using the site must be legal in your country. The full rules are in the User Agreement.
Account and sign-in
How do I sign in?
With Steam or with Telegram. Steam sign-in happens on Steam’s official page, so your Steam password never reaches us.
With Telegram, you open our bot and confirm the sign-in there. The confirmation is valid for 5 minutes — if it expires, just start again.
I signed up with Telegram. Can I withdraw skins?
Yes, once you link Steam: skins can only be sent to your own Steam account. Open your profile, connect Steam, then add that account’s trade link. Because your account uses Telegram, you’ll be asked to confirm the link in our Telegram bot.
Once linked, Steam can’t be disconnected — withdrawals always go to that Steam account.
Can I change my nickname or avatar?
Your name and avatar come from the account you signed up with — Steam or Telegram — and can’t be edited on the site. Changes to your Steam profile show up here the next time you sign in with Steam.
I can't sign in. What should I do?
Make sure your Steam account is active and you completed the sign-in on Steam’s page (or confirmed it in the Telegram bot within 5 minutes). If it still fails, clear your browser’s cookies for forgeloot.com and try again, or write to support.
Upgrades
How does an upgrade work?
Choose up to six skins from your inventory, pick a more expensive target skin from the catalogue and press Upgrade. If the upgrade succeeds, the target skin goes to your inventory. If it fails, the skins and balance you staked are lost.
The result is decided on our server the moment you press Upgrade — the wheel only shows it. An upgrade can’t be cancelled or reversed once started.
What can I stake?
From one to six skins. You can add balance on top with the slider — it takes one of the six slots — but every upgrade needs at least one skin. Your skins count at the price you paid for them, or the value they had when you won them.
Which skins can I aim for?
Any catalogue skin from the same game that is worth more than your stake and isn’t one of the skins you’re staking.
The multiplier and quick-pick buttons narrow the catalogue to a price range, and the shuffle button picks a random target for you.
What happens to a skin I win?
It appears in your inventory straight away. From there you can withdraw it to Steam, sell it for balance, or stake it in another upgrade.
What is fast mode?
It shortens the wheel animation from 8 seconds to 2. The result is the same either way — it’s decided before the wheel starts turning.
Skins and withdrawals
Where do the skins in my inventory come from?
From upgrades you win and from the Shop, where you can buy skins with your balance.
What if I don't need a skin?
Press “Sell for …” on the skin and its value is added to your balance instantly — the price you paid for it, or its value when you won it. “Sell all” in your profile sells your whole inventory at once.
Do skins on the site expire?
No. A skin stays in your inventory until you withdraw it, sell it or use it in an upgrade.
How do I withdraw a skin to Steam?
- Link your Steam account and save its trade link in your profile.
- Press “Send” on the skin in your inventory.
- When the trade offer is ready, press “Accept in Steam” — it opens the offer directly — and accept it.
Where do I find my Steam trade link?
In Steam, open Inventory → Trade Offers → “Who can send me Trade Offers?”. The trade link is at the bottom of that page. It must belong to the Steam account linked to your ForgeLoot account.
My withdrawal was cancelled. Where is my skin?
Back in your inventory. That happens when the offer isn’t accepted in time, is declined, or the skin’s market price has risen above its value on the site. You can try again later, sell the skin or use it in an upgrade.
What is Trade Protection?
After you accept a trade, Steam Trade Protection applies for a few days, and during that time the trade can still be reversed. The skin card shows when protection ends.
- If you reverse the trade yourself, the skin is not refunded.
- If it’s reversed from the sender’s side, the skin returns to your inventory on the site and 10% of its value is added to your balance.
- Steam may restrict trading on your account for up to 30 days after a reversed trade.
Balance and payments
What is my balance in?
Forge Credits: one credit equals one US dollar. You can show prices in rubles or dollars with the currency switch in the header; exchange rates are updated daily.
How do I top up my balance?
Press “Top up balance” and choose a method:
- SBP or bank card — paid in rubles at the rate shown before you pay.
- Crypto — you get a permanent address for the coin you choose; every transfer to it is credited once the network confirms it. The network fee is deducted from the amount.
- Skins— accept the trade offer in Steam, and the credits arrive once the skins are received. Skins under Steam Trade Protection are credited when the hold ends, and skins worth less than $0.07 aren’t accepted.
How quickly does a top-up arrive?
Usually within a minute of the payment being confirmed. If nothing has arrived within an hour, write to support with the payment details.
How do promo codes work?
Enter the code in the top-up window before you pay; the bonus is added to your balance together with the deposit. Only one code can be active at a time, and codes are case-sensitive. Leave your email when topping up, and the receipt for your first deposit will include a personal code for the next one.
Can I get a refund?
Unspent balance can be refunded where the payment method supports reversing the original payment. Stakes in upgrades and credits already spent are final. See section 8 of the User Agreement.
